The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alberta currently has approximately 50 professors and plans to hire a number of faculty members to meet the growing needs of our undergraduate and graduate programs and our research-intensive institution. The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alberta currently has three Canada Research Chairs, 2 of whom are women.
