Following our highly productive Symposium of the Canadian Academy of Engineering "Roadmap to Resilient Ultra-Low Energy Built Environment with Deep Integration of Renewables in 2050", we are pleased to provide the final published proceedings that include the presented papers.
The Symposium is contributing to a more integrated approach to the design and operation of the built environment to target carbon neutrality while achieving resilience, such as to pandemics - COVID19. The design and operation of the indoor environment is becoming critical for people's health and the economy, and it can play a key role in fighting the current and future pandemics, while optimizing the integration of renewable energy sources and smart grids.
